Aetna Consumer Market Segments is looking for a Broker Sales Representative in the greater Orlando , FL market. Position is an outside sales position working directly with Brokers to sell to the over 65 year old market (Medicare Advantage), under 65 market for individual voluntary health policies, and the 50-64 year old AARP plans.
Posting Summary: Engages in the solicitation, selection, training and maintaining of relationships with distribution channels which include agents, brokers and General Agents. Position requires 85% of time spent in field and 15% of time spent on administrative work.
Skills or Experience Required:
- Cultivates agent, broker and GA relationships to promote business opportunities for Aetna Medicare and IVL.
- Build successful relationships with brokers and assist them with selling to prospects.
- Develop and maintain agent information, records, compensation/ recognition programs and provide agency-related service throughout all distribution channels.
- Assist in the identification, development and execution of new distribution channel opportunities.
- Manage agent and broker licensing, registration and certification to ensure timely and accurate compliance with organization and CMS requirements.
- Prepares, plans, organize and deliver outstanding, effective and professional training seminars for agents and brokers within assigned territory.
- Prepares and communicates product updates and enhancements to brokers and agents via all available communication channels.
- Organizes meetings, functions and activities which enhance customer/ distributor relationships.
- Trains, motivates and recruits brokers to sell Aetna Medicare products.
- Articulates the Aetna value proposition.
- Participates in industry organizations, e.g. NAHU
- Achievement of all sales production goals.
Additional Job Information: We offer a competitive base salary plus monthly commissions. Position requires 85% field work; 15% work at home office. This is a work at home position and employee will be required to be in their territory every day. Candidate will have access to local Aetna offices.
